Your duties

What You’ll Do
  • Build & Optimize: Develop and maintain high-performance WordPress websites using Elementor Pro and ACF Pro.
  • Drive Growth: Implement and analyze A/B tests (e.g., via AB Tasty) to boost conversion and engagement.
  • Track Everything: Set up and manage analytics and tracking via Google Tag Manager and Matomo.
  • Ownership Mentality: You take initiative, prioritise accordingly, solve problems, and drive results
  • Enhance Performance: Optimize site speed, SEO, and landing page effectiveness.
  • Code with Purpose: Write clean, scalable code (HTML, CSS, JS/jQuery, PHP) and maintain clear documentation.
  • Integrate Smartly: Work with REST APIs, WPGetAPI, and custom endpoints to connect external data sources.
  • Elevate UX: Use libraries like Swiper.js to create responsive, interactive frontends.
  • Automate Workflows: Build automation using Make.com to streamline repetitive tasks.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with Growth Managers, Designers, and Developers to rapidly test and deploy growth experiments.
What You Bring
  • WordPress Mastery: Proven experience building and scaling WordPress sites.
  • Elementor Expertise: Deep knowledge of Elementor Pro and ACF Pro.
  • Frontend Proficiency: Strong skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery.
  • Backend Know-How: Solid PHP and SQL skills; understanding of WordPress database structure.
  • API Integration: Experience with REST APIs and WPGetAPI.
  • Data-Driven Mindset: Hands-on experience with A/B testing and analytics tools.
  • Version Control: Comfortable with Git, GitHub, and collaborative workflows.
  • Ownership Mentality: You take initiative, solve problems, and drive results.
  • Strong Communicator: Clear, proactive, and collaborative across teams.
Nice to have:
  • Experience with Next.js, React, Node.js, Tailwind CSS, or Styled Components.
  • Familiarity with server-side rendering (SSR) or static site generation (SSG).

  • Remote first: You can work from anywhere in Europe or from countries with a maximum time difference of 2 hours to Germany.
  • Workation: Twice a year you can also work outside Europe for up to 3 weeks.
  • Employer of Record: If you work outside of Germany, you will be hired through an Employer of Record who will take care of all legal matters and payroll.
  • Co-working week: During this week, all employees come together twice a year at an inspiring location to work together, exchange ideas and simply have a good time.
